Frank Adloff is a Professor of Sociology in the Departement of Socioeconomics at the University of Hamburg, and the Director of the DFG Humanities Centre for Advanced Studies »Futures of Sustainability.« His research interests include social theory, civil society, conviviality and theories of the gift, nature and society.
