Der Beitrag diskutiert das kritische Potential der Alltagsperspektive als einer nicht-institutionellen Logik, die der Logik der Institution Verbrechen & Strafe Grenzen setzt und aus der sich eine andere – nicht an Verbrechen & Strafe orientierte – Praxis ergibt. Diese andere Praxis konnte in den späten 1980er Jahren in der Studie „Ärgernisse und Lebenskatastrophen“ als Formen alltäglicher Konfliktbearbeitung herausgearbeitet werden, die wesentlich auf Wiedergutmachung und pragmatische Abhilfe zielten. Die Ergebnisse einer kleinen Replikationsstudie zeigen, dass diese Alltagslogik weiterhin Bestand hat und dass in der Konfliktbearbeitung keine punitiven Muster zu finden sind. Ambivalenzen der Alltagsperspektive ergeben sich allerdings durch die Verbreitung von narrativen Artikulationen einer Alltagsgerechtigkeit, in denen ein Fehlverhalten unmittelbar in die Katastrophe führt. Diese Form poetischer Gerechtigkeit wird artikuliert, um soziale Ängste, Unsicherheiten und Disziplinierungsdruck zu bearbeiten, sie stellt keine Übernahme der Logik von Verbrechen & Strafe dar und bringt eher eine anti-institutionelle Haltung zum Ausdruck. \nThe contribution discusses the critical potential of the everyday perspective as a noninstitutional logic that sets limits to the logic of crime & punishment and results in a different – not crime and punishment-oriented – praxis. This different praxis could be elaborated in the late 1980s in the study “Nuisances and Life Catastrophes” as forms of everyday conflict handling that essentially aimed at restitution and pragmatic remedy. The results of a small replication study show that this everyday logic continues to exist and that no punitive patterns of conflict handling could be found. Ambivalences of the everyday perspective, however, arise through the prevalence of narrative articulations of an everyday justice, in which misconduct immediately leads to catastrophe. This form of poetic justice is articulated to address social anxieties, uncertainties, and pressures of discipline; it does not represent an adoption of the logic of crime & punishment and rather expresses an anti-institutional attitude.
