Hintergrund: Zur Abmilderung von u.a. Personalnot und zunehmender Arbeitsverdichtung in der Pflege wird der Einsatz von Robotern diskutiert. Dem vorliegenden Artikel liegt die Frage zu Grunde, wie Pflege- und anderes Gesundheitsfachpersonal den Robotereinsatz in bestimmten Situationen in der Pflege einschätzen und begründen. Methode: Es wurden vier Fokusgruppen mit insgesamt 17 Teilnehmenden unterschiedlicher Hierarchieebenen und Qualifikationen durchgeführt. Die Auswertung erfolgte mittels qualitativer Inhaltsanalyse. Ergebnisse: In den Diskussionen wurden Aspekte thematisiert, die konstitutiv für Pflegearbeit sind und Berücksichtigung finden sollten in der Entwicklung und beim Einsatz robotischer Systeme in der Pflege. Diese sind die Komplexität der Pflegearbeit, intuitives Wahrnehmen und Entscheiden, die kontinuierliche Krankenbeobachtung sowie ein Anspruch an gute Pflege, der Empathie verlangt. Als Bedingungen eines Robotereinsatzes wurden die Aspekte des Abwendens von Schaden für Patient_innen, der Zustand der Patient_innen und die Notwendigkeit der Anpassung von Arbeitsabläufen thematisiert. Diskussion: Die in den Fokusgruppen thematisierten Aspekte verweisen auf ein Verständnis von Pflege als Interaktionsarbeit sowie auf die handlungsorientierte Professionstheorie. Weiterhin können sie Anhaltspunkte für die soziotechnologische Entwicklung von Robotern für den Einsatz in der Pflege bieten. \nBackground: The use of robots is being discussed in order to mitigate the shortage of staff and the increasing workload in nursing. This article is based on the question of how nursing and other health professionals assess and justify the use of robots in nursing. Methods: Four focus groups were held with a total of 17 participants. The evaluation was carried out using qualitative content analysis. Results: The discussions addressed aspects that are constitutive for care work and should be taken into account in the development and use of robotic systems in nursing care. These are the complexity of nursing work, intuitive perception and decision-making, continuous observation of the patient, and a claim for good nursing care that requires empathy. As conditions for the use of robots, the aspects of preventing harm to patients, the condition of the patients and the necessity of adapting work processes were discussed. Discussion: The aspects raised in the discussions point to an understanding of nursing as interaction work and to profession theory. Furthermore, they can offer clues for the socio-technological development of robots for use in nursing.
