Aktuelle Bestrebungen zur Theorieentwicklung können in der deutschsprachigen Pflegewissenschaft (DPW) als dürftig beschrieben werden. Gleichzeitig gibt es ein wachsendes Interesse an der Schnittstelle von Altern und Pflege, wie die Ausschreibung von Forschungsprojekten oder die Entwicklung von Expertenstandards deutlich machen. Daher lässt sich ein Interesse der DPW vermuten, sich mit Theoriefragen aus dem Bereich der Gerontologie zu beschäftigen. Besonders die Kritische Gerontologie (KG) bietet hier interessante Ansätze. Im Rahmen eines Scoping Review wird der Frage nachgegangen, ob Zusammenhänge im wissenschaftlichen Diskurs zwischen der KG und der DPW bestehen. Ziel ist es, im Ansatz eine theoretische Landkarte der Schnittstelle dieser beiden Disziplinen zu zeichnen. Das Ergebnis zeigt, dass eine Verbindung der KG und der DPW – bis auf Ausnahmen – nicht vorhanden ist. Als Nebenbefund wird deutlich, dass im Bereich der KG durchaus zu Pflegethemen geforscht und publiziert wird. Die dabei gewählte Sichtweise ist meist nicht mit dem pflegewissenschaftlichen Diskurs verbunden – zumindest nicht explizit. Dem gegenüber stehen Publikationen, welche zwar im Bereich der Pflegewissenschaft angesiedelt sind und einen kritischen Standpunkt offenbaren, allerdings nicht mit den theoretischen Perspektiven der KG verbunden sind. \nCurrent efforts to (further) develop theory in German-speaking nursing science (GNS) seem to be quite limited. At the same time, there is a growing interest in the interaction between ageing and care, as can be seen in the call for research projects or the development of expert standards. Therefore, it can be assumed that nursing science would benefit from a robust review of theoretical questions from the field of gerontology in order to make them accessible within its own field. In particular, critical gerontology (CG) provides interesting approaches for this task. Therefore, within the framework of a scoping review, the following question is investigated: Are there any links in the scientific discourse between CG and nursing science in the German-speaking countries? The aim is to draw rudimentary a theoretical map of the interface between these two disciplines. The result shows that a link between CG and GNS is – besides exceptions – tenuous at best. As a secondary finding, it becomes apparent that in the field of CG, nursing topics are indeed being studied. Due to the academic background of the authors, the perspective chosen is usually not connected with the discourse of nursing science. On the other hand, there are publications that are located in the field of nursing science and reveal a critical point of view, but are not connected to the theoretical perspectives of CG.
