1984/2009 - Bildungsbiografische Gegenwarten im Wandel von Kontextkonstellationen

Zusammenfassung: Bildungsbiografien sind - so die Annahme - eine Serie von in den Lebenslauf eingebetteten, je gegenwartsabhängigen differenten Bildungsgestalten. Der Beitrag fokussiert vor diesem Hintergrund die lebensweltlich-gesellschaftlichen Gegenwarten, aus denen heraus Bildungsbiografien jerweils erzählt werden. Im Mittelpunkt stehen zwei 25 Jahre auseinanderliegende Bildungsgestalten einer Person. Von ihnen ausgehend wird der diskontinuierlich-kontinuierliche Wandel von Bildungsbiografien rekonstruiert. Zu deren näherer Bestimmung werden Prozesse der Kontextuierung und Umkontextuierung von massenmedialen, erziehungswissenschaftlich-pädagogischen und zeit-kulturellen Kontexten im Zeitraum zwischen 1984 und 2009 analysiert. Diese Kontextkonstellationen machen Biografieforschung zu einer aufschlussreichen Ressource erziehungswissenschaftlicher Zeitdiagnose.

Abstract: Educational biographies - thus it is assumed - are a sequence of educational configurations embedded in the course of life and differing depending on the diverse current circumstances. Against this background, the authors focus on the respective current social circumstances and living conditions out of which educational biographies are recounted. The main focus is on two educational configurations, 25 years apart, of one individual. Based on these, the discontinuous-continuous change of educational biographies is reconstructed. For a more detailed specification, processes of contextualization and re-contextualization related to contexts of mass media, of educational science and pedagogy, and of culture of the period between 1984 and 2009 are analyzed. These context constellations are what make biographical research an informative and revelatory resource for an educational-scientific diagnosis of times.
