Zusammenfassung

Zusammenfassung: Der Beitrag befasst sich mit einer chilenischen SchülerInnenmobilisierung, die seit über einem Jahrzehnt die bildungspolitische Agenda bestimmt. Diese SchülerInnen vollzogen einen gesamtgesellschaftlichen Tabubruch, indem sie das seit der Militärdiktatur (1973?-?1990) bestehende neoliberale Bildungsmodell in teils innovativer, teils provokativer Form in Frage stellten. Anlehnend an dem Begriff der Generationen und an der kognitiv-sozialen "Framing"-Perspektive werden, die im Zuge der Mobilisierung entwickelten Forderungskataloge, Mobilisierungsstrategien, (Selbst-)Bildungsprozesse, insbesondere intergenerationale Lernprozesse, analysiert. Hauptargumente des Beitrags sind, dass die SchülerInnen eher im Namen als in Reaktion auf die Vorgenerationen agierten, und, dass sie hinsichtlich der Gesamtgesellschaft zur Erweiterung bisheriger, über das Bildungswesen hinausgehender Normen- und Erwartungshorizonte beigetragen haben.

Abstract: This paper deals with Chilean pupil mobilization, which for more than a decade has shaped the education policy agenda. Pupils broke social taboos by calling into question, in an innovative and provocative way, the neoliberal education model initiated by the military dictatorship (1973?-?1990). Based on the concept of generations and the cognitive-social ´framing´ perspective, this work analyses the demands developed during the mobilization, mobilization strategies, (self) education processes, and intergenerational learning processes in particular. The main arguments of the article are that the pupils tend to act in the name of - rather than in reaction to - previous generations, and that they have contributed to the enlargement of the horizon of norms and expectations - going beyond education to society as a whole.
