Zusammenfassung

Der folgende Beitrag hat eine Explorationsstudie zum Inhalt, die sich mit der Organisation des Bereitschaftsdienstes in der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe unter professionstheoretischen Gesichtspunkten befasst. Um zu überprüfen, inwieweit der Schutzauftrag im Rahmen des § 8a SGB VIII auf Umsetzung seitens der Jugendämter stößt, wurden das Jugendamt und eine Polizeidienststelle in einer Großstadt und in einem bevölkerungsarmen Landkreis je Bundesland - ausgenommen den drei Stadtstaaten - telefonisch kontaktiert und nach dem Meldeweg einer Kindeswohlgefährdung befragt, die außerhalb der Dienstzeit des Jugendamtes geschieht. Dabei konnte kein einheitlicher Verfahrensweg festgestellt werden. An nur einem von insgesamt 26 Erhebungsorten wurde a) die Vorgehensweise professionell organisiert und b) stimmten die Angaben von dem Jugendamt und der Polizei überein. -- -- The following article deals with an exploratory study which investigates into the organization of the emergency duty in child and youth care from the pers - pective of theory of profession. Therefore, it was surveyed in which way the departments of youth realized their protective mandate according to the law (§ 8a SGB VIII). In order to collect information, departments both of youth and police of one big city and one rural area in each federal state (except of the three city states) were contacted. They were asked for their ways of announce - ment in the case of child endangerment when it happens outside the working hours of the youth department. There was no indication of a consistent procedure. Only in one of the 26 places of inquiry a) the practice was professionally organized and b) the data of the police and the department of youth conformed. --
