Precarisation in the Czech Republic – social workers and their clients in the same boat.

Zusammenfassung

The article reflects on the current social situation in the Czech Republic in the form of a dialogue between two academics from the discipline of social work. The central issue is the precariousness of work and living conditions, i.e. the particular deterioration (worsening) of conditions for those who are considered vulnerable due to their social situation. However, vulnerability and precarisation directly affect social workers, whose professional task is to help people in need in accordance with their qualifications, and to provide social services, helping people at risk of poverty and exclusion achieve integration and social stability.
