Verena Petrasch

Verena Petrasch was born in 1982 in Switzerland. After long stays abroad, she now lives in Austria and works as a freelance author and graphic designer. She studied applied art, design and marketing in Gothenburg and Vienna. During a sabbatical in 2014, she decided to dedicate herself more to writing and received the Mira-Lobe grant for children’s and youth literature in 2015. She won the Chrysalis Award of the European Science Fiction Society in 2018.
