Freddy’s world is suddenly turned upside down! His mother doesn’t dare to go out, his father is constantly away, and all of a sudden, there is this great big colorful worm on his shoulder.

Freddy, age 11, has a worm on his shoulder. One that looks like a toy. Nobody can see this worm except Freddy. That is why everyone thinks he is crazy when he talks to him. Even Ira, the girl who is a class ahead of Freddy, thinks so. When suddenly in their school class tests get destroyed, their fat therapist, Mr. Schulze-Kiefer, has an idea. Couldn’t Freddy and Ira team up to solve the mystery? And could Freddy perhaps get rid of his worm in the process?
