Calamari and the Tutti-Frutti Pizza

One evening, Calamari the octopus sees a pink unicorn floating in the water, with Florentine, who looks very upset, sitting on it. Children belong with their parents, Calamari knows that for sure. And so the two grab a car and Calamari hits the gas. But on the way, the octopus gets a terrible stomach ache - he has swallowed plastic waste! To convince the nasty mayor that more trash cans and fewer cars are needed, they come up with the plan with the Tutti-Frutti pizza. A special kind of road trip!

A desire to read: The series for beginning readers guarantees first-time readers fun, motivation, and success in learning to read and is also suitable as a whole book for elementary school.

• That's the kind of octopus you want to have as a friend
• An unusual children's book character whose eight tentacles make for speed and comedy
• Topics such as micro plastics in the ocean and beach pollution are addressed without pedantic finger pointing
