Barbara Schinko

Barbara Schinko grew up in a small Austrian town. Her work includes fantasy novels for children as well as books for young people that deal with serious everyday topics, fairy tales and legends in a poetic and imaginative way. Her books have won several awards, including the Austrian Children's and Young People's Book Prize and the Children's and Young People's Book Prize of the City of Vienna.
