Annette Pehnt

Annette Pehnt has won many awards for her books for children and adults; these include the Italo Svevo Prize, the Hermann Hesse Prize and, most recently, the 2017 Baden-Württemberg Culture Prize. She has studied and worked in Ireland, Scotland, Australia and the USA. These days, she teaches creative writing at the University of Hildesheim. Her psychological writings became known thanks to her 'Pehnts Alltag' (Pehnt’s Daily Life) column in the journal 'Psychologie Heute'.
